Gay Marriage

I want to know if that, in states that allow gay marriage, they also have common law rules? I mean, really, one needs to know that if taking in a roommate, do they run the risk of being "Gay-Common-Law" married. So, if you have the same roommate for 6 or more months, before you can have a new roommate you must go to the JOP to be legally "gay-divorced". Or, if you have more than one roommate, are you committing "Gay-Common-Law polygamy"?

Has anybody thought about this?

I say, if you allow gay marriage in your state, you must also apply the common law rules of you state that already apply to heterosexual couples. Anything less than the full application of rules, rights, and privileges of heterosexual marriage would be an injustice.
